Ceramic tiles on a freshly plastered wall sometimes debond months later if the plaster was still curing or dusty when tiled.
Let new plaster cure fully (check with your mason — usually 2-3 weeks), prime a dusty surface, and a standard cementitious tile adhesive is sufficient for ceramic tile on sound, dry plaster.
