Large Format Tile on Plywood: Which Adhesive Should You Use?

Large-format tiles on a plywood or wooden substrate are prone to cracking, since wood flexes and moves far more than concrete.

Use a flexible, high-bond (C2 S1) adhesive rated for large-format tiles and deformable substrates, with full back-buttering to avoid voids under the tile.
