Large vitrified tiles on a vertical wall can slip down ("sag") before the adhesive sets if it doesn't have enough initial grab.
Use a high-bond, non-slip (low-sag) wall-rated adhesive, and use tile spacers/levelling clips to hold the tile in place while it cures.
